Audrey Tanner, Ed.D., is an author, healer, and educator dedicated to the art of self-restoration. A Reiki Master in the Usui lineage and a certified teacher of yoga and meditation, Audrey views her writing as an extension of her spiritual practice—a bridge between the physical landscape and the inner soul.

With over 30 years of university experience and a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership, she uniquely blends a grounded, scholarly perspective with the "quiet magic" of Sanskrit mantra and mindfulness. A graduate of the UCLA Extension fiction writing program, Audrey is the author of several poetry collections, including Slow Moving Clouds and Soft Arrivals—both inspired by the Portuguese Archipelago of Madeira—as well as River Dream and You Are Always Circling. Her published short fiction includes the stories "Rosalie" and "Meet Me in Schenectady."

Beyond her own creative work, Audrey is a sought-after editor for book-length projects in fiction, non-fiction, and creative non-fiction. She notably edited the English translation of Flavours of Influence: The Rise of Cameroon as a Food Power, winner of 2025 Gourmand Awards for Best Translation and Best of the Best 30 Years (1995-2025). Her thoughtful and thorough approach—encompassing developmental assessment, line editing, and proofreading—helps authors bring their unique voices to a global audience.
